My name is Mien Chinda. I am 17 years old I study at Chabh Ompo High School in grade 11. Nowadays I study English in Aziza School also. Society in Cambodia don’t think too much about art. But some interested with art. So why art is important for society and our self? In fact art is very important for the society and for everybody. There are many kids of art. Some show about Khmer civilization, and Khmer tradition, and some show about society such as. Also we can use art to pass information from older people and hang in the house…
Nowadays some boy and girl are very interest to art. Those help them to become artist. Because art is not easy to get success. When we draw we use our feeling. The people must be creative and have to know a clearly about society. We have to do all these things to make the art easy to understand. However, we need have talent and ability also. So we can understand clearly about picture meaning. In fact old artists have ability to draw on the many wall of temple in Cambodia. Inside have a lot of meaning the make us difficult to copy. The picture on the wall can help Cambodian to know about our past. So studying art is very difficult. In fact I have studied art at Aziza School I have a lot of difficult to paint. I am clear about the painting meaning but I don’t have talent and it make me more difficult. But when I study at Aziza School I feel I know how to paint step by step until I know clearly. All our painting we have to know the meaning because we’re painter. We have to explain our picture to other people but inside. But after my teacher explains how to explain and my teacher told me but don’t be shy and I should change my characteristic. Now I can because I study hard and my teacher is a good teacher. Some of my friend they can paint a good painting and some friends their painting hang in the school to show to other people. Art make us get famous and a lot of money.In the end, art is from old generation, please everybody try respect and take care of art. So if it cans our country is get strong economy. And improve and develop
